| Info | Jim is a lifelong resident of Rock Island County. Jim and wife Linda have two grown married children. They have been blessed with six grandchildren and a great granddaughter. Jim is now retired.
Early in his career, Jim held memberships in UAW 1304 & 1356 at the IH Plant in East Moline and later held membership in Teamsters 371. As Jim's career advanced, he found Industrial Sales was his calling. He achieved the position of Regional Sales Manager. Jim is a UT Grad, IL Certified Firefighter and holds several certificates in course studies in his Industrial Sales Field.
Jim volunteered 30 years as a baseball/softball coach and umpire. Jim served 12 years on the Silvis Volunteer Fire Department and served as VP of the organization. Served 12 years on the Silvis Zoning Board of Appeals. He also volunteers on several race committees including The Quad City Marathon. Jim is currently a Precinct Committeeman for Hampton 11.
Jim has an A, B, C - approach to serving on the RICO Board. Jim will be Accountable to the voters. Balancing the budget is a priority and Constituents will be listened to and represented!
Mission statement:
To serve "ALL" of Rock Island County to the best of my ability. I promise to be as fiscally responsible with "OUR" tax dollars as possible! I promise to attend meetings. Return phone calls. And be the County Board Representative you deserve and want.
