| Info | Will Morey, a lifelong resident of Cape May County, was elected to the Freeholder Board in 2011. Morey is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received his B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
Morey is President and CEO of Morey’s Piers, a family-owned business founded in Wildwood in 1969 and recognized as a premier regional entertainment destination. An active industry leader, he has served as Government Relations Committee Chairman, Audit Committee Chairman and Past Chairman of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
As Freeholder, Morey has oversight responsibility for Planning, Economic Development, Education and Transportation Infrastructure. In 2012, he was appointed to serve as Chairman of the Southern New Jersey Economic Development District during a period of significant District restructuring.
Morey supports many charitable and community initiatives and has served on Boards of Education in both Wildwood and Wildwood Crest. He also has served on Boards of the Boardwalk Special Improvement District and the Atlantic Cape Community College Foundation, and he is county Chair for the College’s Capital and Scholarship Campaign. He was a Founding Board Member and Trustee of Cape Volunteers in Medicine.
Morey is a licensed, commercial rated pilot. He is a Certified Flight Instructor and has been a volunteer pilot with the Angel Flight Network since 2007. He resides in Wildwood Crest with his wife, Janice. They have 2 sons, Will and Kyle.
