InfoEric Truijen lives on 10 acres in West St. Paul, Manitoba. Together with Lorrie, they are homeschooling their 7 children, ages 16 to newborn. After 12 years of being in the transportation industry, Eric became a professional firefighter with the City of Winnipeg 13 years ago. This has enabled him to participate in many community endeavors along with his family. He enjoys meeting and visiting people of all walks of life: seniors, international students and children are a part of his volunteer activities. He has run in two other elections, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to interact with others and to point out God's wisdom in everyday life. When he has some "free" time you can usually find him immersed in the Scriptures, hoping to find out more about God's ways and to simply get to know Him better. He is looking forward to the opportunity to represent the people of Winnipeg North in the Parliament of Canada.
