| Info | A decorated veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, serving in the United Nations Peacekeeping mission in Cyprus, Rodger translated the strong discipline and work ethic learned in the military into a successful business career.
As a small business owner he knows first hand the challenges facing businesses today, and the sacrifices business owners make in balancing work and family obligations. As the 2010 President of the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce, Rodger heard daily from his business colleagues about the difficulties running a business in a now have-not Province. Ontario, once the economic engine of Canada, needs to better connect with small businesses and help to make us competitive again. These factors helped motivate Rodger to run for Tim Hudak and the Ontario PC Party.
Rodger is supported by his loving wife of more than 40 years, Nan, and together they share two grown children and three grandchildren. Family means everything to Rodger, and he knows that Ontario families need a break – a break that only Tim Hudak and the Ontario PC Party can provide.
