| Info | Donna Petersen is an education worker and activist. She was born in Vancouver to a working class family and since the early 1980s has been active in the People's Front and the Marxist-Leninist Party. She has worked with the collective "Education is a Right" to give coherence to the struggle against the anti-education attacks of federal and provincial governments. She has also been active as a union steward and worked for a broad front of parents, education workers and students to resist attacks on public education and to chart a path forward for the movement in favour of public education.
