Info | Mr. Fox, who grew up in West Scranton, runs the catering hall at the Melting Pot, the West Scranton bar he once owned. With his partner, Paul Kobierecki, he also owns Foxko Real Estate, which owns buildings that lease to the Dollar General stores in Old Forge and Carbondale and to Advanced Auto Parts in Carbondale, he said.
Mr. Fox was the manager of The Buoys, the locally based group that in 1971 scored a national hit song, "Timothy," and remained popular for years afterward here. He also promoted rock concerts locally through his company, Fox Productions.
Mr. Fox previously operated 30 Fox Video and Montage Video stores that operated in the region in the 1980s and 1990s, but sold them to the nationwide West Coast Video chain, which has since gone out of business.
