| Info | Koren, 56, said before commanding the Fogelsville barracks, he oversaw criminal investigations for the state police in the Philadelphia area before becoming the director of three state police crime labs in Bethlehem; Media, Delaware County; and Wyoming, Luzerne County. While with the state police, he obtained his law degree in 1983. He retired from the state police in January 2005.
Koren rew up in Coplay and graduated from Whitehall High School in 1972.
