| Info | Already serving as our Supervisor as the interim appointment filling a board vacancy, Mike Heaberg has made an immediate and positive impact for residents and taxpayers by bringing a reasoned approach and critical thinking to issues.
A successful businessman with nearly 30 years of experience in the finance industry, Mike brings real-knowledge in short-, mid- and long-range financial planning to our township – experience which he is using to examine township finances to offer new ways to meet our community’s priorities while still protecting taxpayers in these tough economic times.
Mike has already proven his ability to listen to and work with residents and other Supervisors to address important issues. In one of his first meetings as Supervisor, Mike helped ensure the continued independence of the Township’s Planning Commission in the land-use decision making process.
Active in our community and valued for his professional skills, Mike has provided his time and expertise to groups such as the Foundation for Learning in Tredyffrin Eastown (FLITE) and the T/E School District Strategic Planning Advisory Committee. He also served as youth sports coach for T/E Youth Soccer.
Mike has been a resident of Tredyffrin Township for nearly 50 years. He and his wife, Shelley, raised their three children in our community, sending them all to T/E public schools. Mike understands the unique characteristics that provide Tredyffrin residents with such a unique quality-of-life and will use this understanding on the Board of Supervisor to work for our needs.
A graduate of Conestoga High School, Mike holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, as well as several certifications related to his profession.
