Stewart Greenleaf, Jr. is a commercial litigator at the Montgomery County based law firm of Elliott Greenleaf & Siedzikowski, P.C., a firm well known for its effective representation of individuals, businesses and non-profits. In that capacity, Stewart has gained significant experience in effectively analyzing complicated fact-patterns to disclose and prosecute wrongdoing. In 2008, 2010 and 2011, Stewart was named a Pennsylvania SuperLawyers “Rising Star”, an honor reserved for no more than 2.5% of young lawyers in Pennsylvania.
Stewart received a B.A. from the University of Maryland in 2000, and is a 2004 graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law. Following law school, Stewart served a judicial clerkship with President Judge Emeritus Stephen J. McEwen, Jr. of the Pennsylvania Superior Court, one of the most widely-respected jurists in Pennsylvania.
Stewart is active in the community both locally and County-wide. He was appointed Treasurer of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Trial Lawyer’s Section for 2011. Stewart also volunteers his legal services for the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, an important program providing free legal representation to child victims of abuse who are navigating the often intimidating legal system. As a hearing committee member for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s Disciplinary Board, Stewart presides over disciplinary proceedings against Pennsylvania attorneys who have abused their profession.
Locally, Stewart serves as a Trustee of the Upper Moreland Free Public Library, helping to oversee the efficient use of scarce Library funds to effectively further the Library’s core mission. He also serves as a member of the Upper Moreland Township Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, recommending policies and improvements for community parks and recreational programs to the Township Board of Commissioners.
A lifelong citizen of Montgomery County, Stewart, his wife, Heather, and their children, Stewart (3 years old) and Alice (1 year old), live in Willow Grove. Stewart is a native of Upper Moreland Township and Heather is a native of Upper Dublin Township.
