InfoComputer Consultant & '01 Kennesaw City Council Candidate

I am a devoted family man, husband to Rebecca, and father to Jack (2) and Madeleine (6mos.). I have lived in Georgia for 29 of my 31 years. I consider myself to be a jack-of-all trades. I currently work in the computer industry, all the while growing my knowledge of greenhouse horticulture and hobbyist woody plant propagation to in turn start a tree farm and possible wholesale greenhouse business in the near future.

I am a graduate of Georgia State University, 1995, with a B.A. in Political Science. I was a candidate for City Council for Kennesaw, GA in 2001. I currently am the Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Cobb County.

Along with my hobbies of greenhouse plants and tree material propagation, my other agricultural experiences include producing pumpkins on five acres of a 40 acre farm in Cumming, GA; Greenhouse Business Management seminars through the UGA Extension Service; and as a member of the Georgia Flower Growers Association.

When I win the Commissioner of Agriculture position, I plan on streamlining current department functions.

I will work to eliminate and/or privatize all licensing functions and unconstitutional functions under the Agriculture Department umbrella - this includes not only traditional agriculture commodities, but also petroleum regulation as well as weights and measures.

I will work to have current legislation and regulations modified to do away with licensing fees altogether. Licensing fees are just another government mandated tax that typically funds the general fund of the State.

I believe that you as an individual and as a business can best decide what business practices are best for your business and for your person. I want to keep the government out of your business.
