Ted Carpenter is currently serving his eleventh year on the Deer Valley Governing Board. He retired from the Phoenix Fire Department after serving 25 years and was elected to the State House of Representatives for District 19, in November 1998 and 2000.. He is currently serving his seventh year as a board member on the Valley Schools Insurance Trust and his sixth year at the Valley Schools Workers Compensation Pool. Mr. Carpenter attended Alhambra High School, holds a business associate degree from Tarrent County Junior College and a fire science degree from Phoenix College. Married with two children.
