| Info | Councilman Turk has represented the residents of Joliet since 1987. He has also served as chairman of the City Council Public Service Committee and a member of the Finance Committee. He is also treasurer of the Will County Governmental League. Mike received a degree in accounting from Lewis University. He retired as an auditor after 31 years with the Illinois State Board of Education. He is currently employed at the Southern Will County Coop for Special Education as a bookkeeper.

Goals for the City of Joliet
Mike would like to continue to maintain the positive fiscal condition of the City of Joliet. He would also like to continue to create additional quality of life projects while continuing to work with residents on flooding and other life safety concerns. He considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the public and takes his responsibility very seriously.
