| Info | Thomas Paul Raimondi was appointed Associate Deputy Commissioner of the Insurance Administration in January 1988. Mr. Raimondi serves as the Commissioner's designee in all quasi-judicial hearings and supervises the agency's Human Resources and Insurance Fraud Divisions.
Prior to his appointment to this position Mr. Raimondi served as Assistant Commissioner of Property and Casualty from 1986 to 1988, and Assistant Commissioner from 1978 to 1986. He joined what was then the Insurance Division of the Department of Licensing and Regulation in 1974 as a hearing officer.
Mr. Raimondi did undergraduate work at the University of Maryland College Park. He received a juris doctorate degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1953. He earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Baltimore in 1976.
Mr. Raimondi is a member of the Maryland Bar and was formerly an attorney in private practice.
