Info | Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Boardman, controversial antiwar activist, is listed as an independent candidate on the November ballot.
Mrs. Boardman, 52, who is running as a member of the Wisconsin Alliance, described her party as "the new working people's party."
The mother of six was one of a group of Quakers who went to North Vietnam in 1967 to help deliver medical supplies.
Her platform includes proposals for day care centers, a guaranteed annual income, the end of the Vietnam War, the dissolution of the CIA and the FBI and the end of surveillance of U.S. residents by the Government.
