Info | A lifelong New Jersey resident, Jason grew up in Lyndhurst and today lives in Lopatcong with his wife, Tammi, and their two children, Jason and Skyler. He understands the issues that are close at heart to the people of Warren County, both within his own town and throughout the county, as well as the issues that affect all New Jersey residents.
Jason sees the toll that New Jersey’s high taxes take on its residents, and will work towards smaller, more efficient government and budget reform that will make the county more affordable for its hardworking men and women. He also aims to bring new ideas and youthful leadership to Warren County, and help its leaders improve ethics in the current political system.
For the last eight years, Jason has worked as an electrical engineer for the New Jersey power industry, working first for PSE&G and currently for First Energy. His career has focused on improving electricity generation and delivery reliability to New Jersey’s residents, and improving and maintaining environmental controls on the state’s largest power plants. During his tenure in these positions, Jason has worked extensively to improve safety for his companies' employees and the public they serve.
Deciding to run for County Freeholder was not a difficult decision. Jason has a strong desire to give back to the state he has called home for his entire life. He believes that politics is not just for life-long politicians; he draws inspiration from the Founding Fathers’ idea of a political system that allows any person to rise to a political office and make a difference in government.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his children, hunting, golfing, fishing, and playing softball. Jason and his family also enjoy volunteering with organizations such as the Special Olympics of New Jersey, and various social assistance and education organizations.
Jason has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in technology management from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, and is a graduate of Lyndhurst High School.
