Info | David Carlucci is a graduate of Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a life-long Rockland resident. He was elected Clarkstown Town Clerk in 2005, and was the youngest serving Town Clerk in New York State.
In his three terms in office, David has advanced the technological infrastructure of Clarkstown by digitizing hundreds of thousands of records and improved accessibility to local government by staggering office hours, creating mobile offices, and starting an online "virtual office".
In 2010, David ran for New York State Senate in the 38th District against current County Executive C. Scott Vanderhoef on a platform of reforming Albany, capping property taxes and creating jobs in the district. Despite facing a well-funded, 17-year incumbent, David won the race with overwhelming support.
