| Info | Michael was born in California and spent his childhood in Arizona, Colorado, and Utah.
He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Design Engineering Technology.
Michael was commissioned an officer in the United Stated Marine Corps and has served both active and reserve duty, including service in Lebanon, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. By the end of his military service, he had earned the rank of Major.
Michael has lived in Louisville, Kentucky for over 19 years, where he is currently employed with Ford Motor Company as an Industrial Electrician at the Kentucky Truck Plant. During the 22 years Michael has been employed at Ford, he has also served as a Production and Maintenance Supervisor, and as an Environmental Engineer.
Prior to working at Ford Motor Company Michael worked for Goodyear Aerospace in Akron, Ohio and was a process engineer for the Naval Airship program.
Michael has a passion for education, especially history, military, religious, and American. Energy research and development, Manufacturing, and aviation are also areas of specialized interest. He is currently working on his MBA through Webster University. Michael has been faithfully married to his wife, Nancy, for thirty years, and they have six children.
