| Info | I’m a veteran, a doctor, and a small business owner. I’m running for Congress to preserve freedom and prosperity for all Iowans.
I grew up in Kansas, earned my medical degree at the University of Kansas, and served nine years as an officer in the U.S. Army Medical Corps.
My wife Julie grew up on an Iowa farm. She and I met and married in 1994, and we settled in Iowa in 2004. Today, we live in Coralville with our three sons, where we own and operate a local surgical clinic.
I’ve been proud to build my career and raise my family here in Southeast Iowa. As I travel our area and meet with fellow Iowans, I find few of our friends and neighbors feel well represented by the partisan politicians in Washington DC.
I think we can do better. Iowans deserve a leader who will buck partisanship and try to find real solutions to our complex problems.
