InfoA 36 year resident of Brandywine Hundred, Bob Rhodunda grew up in the local public school system, attended Concord High School, and received a B.A. from West Chester University and a MBA from Wilmington University.

Bob faces administrative and operational issues on a daily basis as a Manager in the Finance Actuarial Department of American Life Insurance Company (ALICO). His 15+ years of experience working in budgeting, operations, finance, and staffing guides his decision making. Involvement in local politics, Naamans Little League, and St. David’s Episcopal Church helps balance out his days. Bob’s interest in working with people and serving the community started early on. While attending high school, he earned the level of Eagle Scout and served as class president for three years. In college, fellow students entrusted Bob with a $1.2 million budget when he was elected student body Treasurer his senior year at West Chester University.

Bob’s focus for running is to make state government more efficient including: state-wide fiscal responsibility, raising the standards of Delaware schools, lowering the tax burden for Delawareans, and protection for our children, families, and homes. He also believes in preservation of open space, promotion and protection of small business, and affordable, accessible, and quality health care.

Bob attributes his interest in the race to issues left on the table since his last run for office in 2000. “There is still much to be done...the 10th District needs new leadership...it is the right time for me to step up” said the candidate. “I’ve spent a lot of time volunteering in local politics, the community and our church in the past 10 years and now I’m ready to give back to the residents of the 10th district and the State of Delaware.”

Since his 2000 run for office, Bob has kept his hand in Delaware politics by volunteering on local campaigns, holding a delegate seat at the 2007 Delaware State Convention, and winning the coveted “Republican of the Month” award from the Brandywine Region Republicans in 2008.

He currently lives with his wife, Debbie, and three children in Talleybrook.
