| Info | I’m an experienced leader and organizer in community & business, an architect, secretary for our family Real Estate Co, Rex Allen Days, Inc. President and Parks & Rec Commissioner for 10 years. Issues of interest to me are borders, spending and jobs.
Our porous borders are endangering citizens and draining our coffers, as we provide for a growing number of illegals who do not even pay taxes. We can be good neighbors with Mexico by working with them, through an impenetrable border fence with clear points of entry.
Growth in Arizona is over for now. We must go back to the "pre-boom" mentality and make hard decisions about where we spend tax revenues. We must eliminate the need for new taxes.
Creating incentives and tax cuts will cause business owners to see Arizona as a place where they can make a new start, rather than where they took their "last stand". We must sacrifice to allow the growth of the business community and then more jobs will create a healthy tax and economic base.
