Info | Aaron Muderick, a native of Havertown, PA, resides in Narberth, PA with his wife Elizabeth and children Sara, 5, and Rebecca, 3. His children currently attend Main Line Reform Nursery School and Sara will begin attending Belmont Hills in the fall of 2010.
Aaron has always had an interest in local community affairs and has been running the Narblog, a Narberth-focused news and opinion website at www.narblog.org, since 2007. There he researches and writes various articles and essays on Narberth’s current events, long-term trends, upcoming activities, and history about the town’s past.
With support of the Narberth Civic Association and the Narberth Library, Aaron has made Narberth’s original newspaper, Our Town (published 1914-1949), completely text searchable to aid those researching our borough’s history.
Aaron is President of Crazy Aaron’s Puttyworld, a toy and promotional merchandise manufacturer. The firm sells Thinking Putty, a stress reliever and desk toy available in over thirty countries around the world. The company has designed its processes to enable special needs individuals to perform all manufacture, assembly, and shipping of its products. From his home office in Narberth, he leads R&D of new products as well as marketing and sales efforts.
Aaron regularly donates his time to Delaware Valley schools performing engaging science and technology demonstrations for students of all ages.
Aaron recently completed service as Vice President of Administration for his synagogue SJCC Bnai Aaron in Havertown, PA. In this role, he led strategic planning sessions, recruited congregants to serve on committees, proposed and implemented fundraising programs, managed the day-to-day operations of the professional staff, helped to prepare annual budgets, and worked closely with contractors to renovate the physical plant using limited funds.
Aaron also serves as Treasurer and co-founder of GEEO, a non-profit organization formed to help teachers to travel abroad and then share their experiences with their students upon returning to the classroom. The organization’s goal is to promote a more outward-looking world view in American students.
Prior to founding Crazy Aaron’s Puttyworld, Aaron was a Senior Software Architect at FullTilt Solutions and US Interactive, both in King of Prussia, PA. There, he designed and implemented web-based software projects for Fortune 500 clients including: Microsoft, AIG, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, US Steel, and Nabisco.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Rochester.
