InfoMark Roy is proud of his Manchester heritage and deep roots in the community. As a businessman, taxpayer, and young father, he has made a considerable personal and professional investment in the city's future.

A graduate of St. Joseph's Junior High School and Memorial High School, Mark attended Western Kentucky University and returned to his hometown to establish The CM Roy Group Real Estate.

Mark has always been involved in community affairs and has volunteered countless hours to worthy community causes, including - being a Past President of the East Cobra Football & Cheerleading program, a charter member of the Manchester Coalition for Quality Education and the Friends of Stark Park, an organization that has rehabilitated one of Manchester's natural gems.

Mark's interest in civic affairs was sparked by his concern for the condition of the school buildings his daughter and son will one day attend. He was appointed vice chairman of the Citizens Task Force on School Facilities, the group responsible for launching the process that lead to the additions and renovations of all public school buildings in Manchester. Chaired by John Kacavas, Nominee for U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire the task force identified and recommended sweeping improvements to all Manchester Schools.

Six years ago, Mark defeated the dean of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen and became Ward One's representative on the board. He easily won two additional terms as alderman. As a member of the board, he has championed fiscal restraint, long-term planning, and departmental efficiencies. He has also been a consistent supporter of public education and public safety.

Mark has been married to his wife Rebecca, a speech pathologist for the Hooksett School District, for 13 years. They have two children, Marina, 2, and Jake, 5 months.
