InfoStephen G. Pollock serves as of counsel to the Business Department at Montgomery McCracken. With over 30 years of experience and service to the Philadelphia community, Mr. Pollock concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning and land use, real estate transactions, real estate litigation, and municipal code enforcement.

Mr. Pollock was one of the first to be appointed by Governor Edward G. Rendell as a member of the newly revived Pennsylvania State Planning Board. A longstanding member of the Lower Moreland Township Planning Commission, Mr. Pollock has served as chair for the past 5 years. He is a former chair of the Real Property Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and currently serves as co-chair of its Zoning and Land Use Committee.

For 10 years Mr. Pollock was co-editor of the "Blue Book" version of the Philadelphia Zoning Code. Prior to the advent of on-line and more recent services, this document served as the only zoning code resource.

Mr. Pollock is the former counsel and past president of Old York Road Temple - Beth Am in Abington, Pennsylvania, and a former president of the Huntington Valley Library. He served on the transition teams for Mayors Street and Rendell. He currently serves on Mayor Nutter's Transition Team for the Department of Licenses and Inspections.

Mr. Pollock is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on land use and zoning issues.

Mr. Pollock received a J.D. degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 1975. He earned an A.B. degree from Muhlenberg College in 1972.
