| Info | Michael J. Koury, Jr., District Justice in Wilson Borough, graduated Magna cum laude from Moravian College in 1990. Koury received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law where he ranked 6th out of 246 law students. He was invited to become a member of the Villanova Moot Court Board based upon his oral and written legal arguments.
After graduation from Villanova, he took a position with the Wall Street Law Firm of Cahill Gordon and Reindel, one of the most prestigious law firms in the U. S. Eventually he left the firm to dedicate his life to public service. In 1997 he was elected to District Justice for Pennsylvania District Court 2-12 in Wilson Borough, Northampton County. His late father, Michael J. Koury, Sr. (Moravian 1959) had been a District Justice in the same county for twenty years.
Koury is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, the U.S. Federal Courts for Eastern District of PA, the Southern District of the District of NJ and the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He is married and the father of a daughter.
