| Info | Hi, I am Craig X Rubin and currently I am working as a pastor at The Family Church in Pasadena under Bishop Donnie Williams. This is the greatest church in the world because of my awesome Bishop. On Tuesday nights I teach future pastors about the Jewish Nature of the New Testament at Union Bible College . “Pastor Craig” is what they call me in church. I was born in East LA , raised in a reform Jewish Family in West LA and founded Temple 420. In of November 2006 the LAPD violently raided the temple and shut down our house of worship. When demanding my rights as a clergyman I was told by an LAPD officer that my Judeo-Christian faith was not protected by law because it was, “not a real religion.”
On September 1, 2008 I rented a space on Robertson Blvd. and named it as my campaign headquarters two days later. The location was visited by City of Los Angeles officials no less than three times by September 11, 2008 and our landlord received a letter threatening to jail her for twenty years and to seize her property. The letter appeared to be from the DEA, but it is turning out that the letter was not actually from the DEA, but is a forgery. In an attempt to harass and intimidate our campaign some individuals have committed a felony and I am asking the State and Federal authorities to solve this crime and prevent further “Domestic Terrorism” from hampering my seeking the Mayor’s office.
I love the City of Los Angeles and think that our current Mayor is not doing a good job. More importantly I know that I will do a better job when elected to the office. The current Mayor has exercised horrible judgment in running our City putting his personal life and career goals before the needs of our City. I will put the City of Los Angeles first exercising superior judgment in creating a heavenly place to live for all of our citizens.
Prior to working as a pastor I authored a hardback book, 9021GROW, about my personal experiences at UCLA founding and running a Free Speech Club, owning a hemp store on Melrose called “2000BC,” and working to end the prohibition of cannabis. I know that 85% of all drug arrests are for marijuana and that marijuana is not only benign it is benevolent. Therefore, the Drug War is a big waste of tax payer dollars that damages minority communities more than it helps them. That is why I think my opponents will try to use unseemly tactics against me feeling as if they have a duty to do so to protect the world from a plant that G-d created. It is my prayer that pro-hemp people across the country will support me the way people outside the State of California have supported our current Mayor. Thanks for reading my story.
