I am Ruth Page Jones. I live on Oak View Drive in Waukesha, Wisconsin. You and I probably have several things in common. We are residents of the Waukesha community. We are concerned citizens and we are probably a little frustrated with politics as usual.
I think it is time for our voices to be heard. I am the Democratic candidate for State Assembly District 97. I am running for this office because I want to make state government work for you. I want to represent you: your concerns, your dreams and your hopes.
Elected officials must be prepared to respond to ever-changing situations. While views on today’s issues are relevant when making your choice, the character of the candidate and the skills she can bring to the office can give you a better sense of her ability to represent you over time as issues change. I hope my biography illuminates the qualities that I will bring to this office working for Waukesha , working for you.
