InfoDavid Remington is currently a public relations consultant working with private businesses and Children’s Services organizations in the region. He has been a member of the business community for over 20 years, serving on numerous boards, committees and agencies during that time. Mr. Remington has been a Councillor and Deputy Mayor on the Napanee Town Council as well as Mayor of Greater Napanee. He also worked on Parliament Hill as a Legislative Assistant for former Member of Parliament Larry McCormick.

Known for his dedication to his community, Mr. Remington was voted Napanee and District Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 2002. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow, as named by the Napanee Rotary Club, and is the Past President of the Lanark–Frontenac–Lennox and Addington Federal Liberal riding association.

Mr. Remington is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of residents in this riding. He looks forward to being a voice for fairness, equality and justice as a Member of Parliament.

Mr. Remington attended Queen’s University and received a diploma in Restorative Justice from Queen’s Theological College.

For three generations, his family has resided in the Lanark–Frontenac–Lennox and Addington area. Mr. Remington currently lives in Napanee with his wife, Diane.
