Pepper and served from February 10, 1914, to March 3, 1915; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1914 to the Sixty-fourth Congress; resumed the practice of his profession; died in Piedmont, Calif., August 25, 1930; the remains were cremated and the ashes placed in a crypt in the California Crematorium.
