Latta; elected to the Sixty-third, Sixty-fourth, and Sixty-fifth Congresses and served from November 7, 1911, to March 3, 1919; unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1918 to the Sixty-sixth Congress; resumed his former business pursuits; member of the State board of education of Nebraska 1923-1926; died in Fremont, Nebr., January 13, 1939, and the remains were cremated.
