Dr. John McLaughlin, Ph.D. is the creator and executive producer of the "McLaughlin Group" (since 1982)and "John McLaughlin's One on One" (since 1984) on PBS. He was a former Washington editor and columnist at the National Review and served in the Nixon and Ford Administrations as a speechwriter. Before working in Washington circles, McLaughlin was a Catholic priest with the Society of Jesus religious order. He left the Jesuits and got married.
