Mr. Gordon served as Director of Conservation & Stewardship for Apache Corp. He served as Director of Federal Reserve Bank Of Kansas City Inc. from 2009 to January 2013. He served as Chairman and Member of the Wyoming Environmental Quality Council. He served as board member of High Country News, the Wyoming Council for the Humanities, the Northern Wyoming Mental Health Center, Harold Jarrard Park and has served on the Board of Supervisors-Powder River Conservation District and the University of Wyoming College of Agriculture Sheridan Research and Extension Center Advisory Board. He has also served on the Johnson County School Improvement and Facilities committees. Mr. Gordon was featured and quoted in several publications, including "Ahead of Their Time: Wyoming and Voices for Wilderness," as well as "Utne Reader," "New Farm," "Beef" and "Western Horseman" magazines. He also served as a soccer coach and referee. Mr. Gordon ran in the 2008 primary for Wyoming's at-large seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Gordon graduated from Middlebury College in 1979 with a BA in History.
