Info | Laurinda Calongne is a successful, conservative Louisiana businesswoman. As founder and CEO of Robert Rose Consulting, Laurinda has grown a small healthcare and business consulting firm into a nationally recognized industry leader.
Before starting her company, Laurinda served on the Council on Graduate Medical Education in the Administration of President George W. Bush. In this capacity, she represented all teaching hospitals in the United States to the Presidential Council and to the United States Congress. In 2002, Governor Mike Foster appointed Laurinda to the Louisiana Health Works Commission where she helped identify sources of funding for Healthcare in Louisiana.
In addition to her business accomplishments, Laurinda has had over ten years of clinical and management experience in the healthcare industry, and held an adjunct faculty position at Louisiana State University for five years.
Laurinda is an active Republican who has volunteered on dozens of Republican campaigns and helped raise over $2.5 million to elect Republican candidates since 2004.
She is running for Congress because she wants to use her business sense to streamline the federal government, ease the tax burden on Louisiana families, fight for real immigration reform, and represent true conservative values in Washington, D.C.
Laurinda and 16-year-old daughter, Emilie, attend Healing Place Church. Her husband, Dan, is a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
