InfoDavid Landrum is a family man, committed Christian, and successful businessman who will bring conservative values, common sense, and fiscal responsibility to Congress.

David was born and raised at Tucker's Crossing in Jones County. It was on the family farm where David learned his conservative beliefs and the value of hard work and responsibility.

After high school, David worked to pay his way through Jones County Junior College. Then, he followed in the footsteps of his father, an Air Force veteran, and joined the military in 1974. David served three years in the U.S. Army, including one year abroad.

David went back to college at the University of Southern Mississippi where he met his wife, Jill. During his senior year at Southern, David and Jill started their own financial services business. They have grown their business over the past 29 years, and today, it is responsible for hundreds of job and opportunities in Mississippi and across the country.

In addition to being a leader in the business community, David is dedicated to his faith and his community. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Mission Mississippi and board member for Here's Life. He was recently named Vice President of the Magnolia Speech Schools. He is a former Board of Trustees member at Mississippi College where he was also Chairman of the Business Advisory Committee. David also serves on the boards for Habitat for Humanity, Transformation Jackson, and the Madison County Foundation. David is a member of the University of Southern Mississippi School of Business Advisory Committee.

David served on the Steering Committee for Lt. Governor Elect Phil Bryant, the 2003 Transition Team for Governor Haley Barbour, and Governor Barbour's 2007 Finance Committee where he also served as Madison County Finance Chairman.

David and Jill are active members of Pinelake Baptist Church. They have been married for 29 years, and they have two children, Tommy (26) and Lauren (23).
