Info | Christina Bisanz has devoted herself to serving the community of Newmarket-Aurora. As a consumer advocate, she has over 25 years of experience working with non-profit associations and groups, helping them to increase their service and overall benefit to those seeking assistance. Now, she is focusing her attention on provincial politics.
Christina has a solid belief in all levels of government working together to meet the needs of the community and the riding. She believes in a strong infrastructure for the riding and improved transportation initiatives to assist those who commute to and from the region.
A devoted community volunteer, Christina is a member of the Consumer Product Advertising Advisory Council, Advertising Standards Canada. She also is a Board member of the Consumers Council of Canada. As well, she is on the Board of Governors of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.
In private life, she runs her own successful consulting business, designing and implementing a government and stakeholder relations strategy for an innovative health care service delivery and technology company. She is anxious to represent the community and bring employment opportunities and educational advantages to those living and working in Newmarket-Aurora.
Having spent the past twenty-four years in the riding, living first in Aurora and later in Newmarket, Christina knows the issues and concerns of her fellow residents. She understands the challenges the region faces and is eager to work with the McGuinty government to bring increased economic opportunities to the riding.
Christina is married to Paul Geick and they have one son, Tyson.
