| Info | Allison Graham is a long-time Party member and activist. She has volunteered on both federal and provincial campaigns in London, and also served as Vice-President of the Ontario PC Party and Chair of the Fundraising Committee of the Party Executive.
Allison has written the People You Know column in The London Free Press since August 2003. This freelance assignment has given her a unique vantage point interacting with thousands of people and learning firsthand about the issues and causes important to Londoners.
Media roles have included various television segments such as a Today's Women reporter for Roger's Television and a weekly radio segment on the hit morning show Fresh FM. She is also a former member of The London Free Press Editorial Board.
An active member of the community, Allison has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities including The Salvation Army and Wrap Around London, an organization that empowers families at risk of falling apart to develop a plan to stay together and utilize the social service system to most effectively meet their special needs.
As a member of the steering committee for the TechAlliance Emerging Leaders Initiative, Allison has encouraged the next generation of London's leadership to get involved in our city and make a difference.
She is the former executive director for Hope's Garden Eating Disorders Support and Resource Centre, and is currently a member of the Garrison Community Council, a group dedicated to bridging the gap between the local military presence and the civilian community. Allison has also joined the London Club Board of Directors as the youngest member of the board in the Club's 126-year history.
Allison's unique presentation style has engaged audiences large and small as she has taught fundraising workshops, emceed charity events, given keynote addresses on the devastation of eating disorders and taught effective business networking strategies to corporate clients through her company, Elevate Seminars and Strategic Development Inc.
In her free time, Allison makes family and friends her priority. She loves to golf, downhill ski, practise hot yoga and travel.
