| Info | David Romero grew up Charlotte, North Carolina. He attended Providence Day School from 3rd grade until he graduated in 1991. He is a 1995 graduate of Auburn University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During his student career, David had the opportunity to serve as an intern for U.S. Representative Sue Myrick (NC - 9) in Washington D.C.
Upon graduating from Auburn University, David had the opportunity to serve on a United States Senatorial Campaign bid for Sid McDonald in Alabama. Realizing he wanted to be closer to his family, David returned to Charlotte to pursue a career in employee benefits. David served as a consultant and in business development for a national benefits consulting firm for nine years where he was recognized as a top producer nationally on several occasions. After learning all that he could from his position and mentors, David followed his entrepreneurial spirit and formed his own unique employee benefits brokerage and consulting boutique.
David has many passions in life and constantly strives to find ways to fulfill them. He serves on the Board of Advisors and Board of Alumni at Providence Day School. He is also still rallying support for the Charlotte Auburn Club, where he is a former President. David has also been a part of Youth Homes, Inc.'s Board for several years. Additionally, David is a member of Succession, a group that provides young business leaders a forum to become better stewards of their own lives and the Charlotte Community. David is also a graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class XXIV.
David and his wife Heather, have two cats and a dog. They are members of Myers Park Presbyterian Church and enjoy Auburn Football, the Carolina Panthers, playing golf and socializing with friends.
