| Info | Bob Backus was born and raised in Goffstown, New Hampshire. He attended both public schools and the Holderness school. He went to Wesleyan for his undergraduate degree and received his law degree (cum laude) from Harvard.
Bob started his law firm in Manchester nearly forty years ago and since then he has worked tirelessly on environmental and energy issues. Bob has served on the boards of several organizations, including the Conservation Law Foundation, Campaign for Ratepayers' Rights, Nuclear Information and Research Service, and the New Hampshire Bar Association.
Bob has two adult children and he lives with his wife Carol in Manchester.
