Essay:
Working people are being marched by the U.S. rulers to a bloody war of invasion against Iraq and toward economic depression. My campaign advocates a program to protect working people -- for example, a shorter workweek with no pay cut, affirmative action, cancel the Third World debt. Working people need to break from the capitalist parties and organize independently, depending on our own numbers and solidarity. Workers and farmers need to chart a revolutionary course to take political power from the ruling capitalists and organize our own government, which would uproot capitalism -- the cause of imperialist war, economic crisis, racism, sexism.
