| Info | "I was born and raised in Atlantic County to a family who’s annual camping trips gave birth to my interest in the environment, first leading me to become a junior ranger and later, in my teen years, driving me to travel around the United States. These key experiences led me to accept entrance to the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and Environmental Forest Biology, graduating magna cum laude, with the highest GPA in my major. It was there that my interest in the environment and realization of a need for political action collided. With further investigation I realized that the Green Party’s main platform combined my concerns for the environment with that of the people who live in it. Since then I have devoted heart and mind to joining forces with the Green Party to truly make a difference towards a better world and a better us. I currently reside with my husband and daughter in Linwood and work with children with special needs at Mainland Regional High School. At Mainland I am currently building a club called the Student Citizen Coalition, which will teach students how to be effective environmental and social advocates, as well has, promoting civic renewal in our youth. I am also a member of the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA)."
