Anthony J. Windisch of St. Louis is a Certified Computing Professional (CCP) with more than thirty years experience working as a computer Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, Operations Manager, Financial Systems Manager, and Data Processing Manager.
Tony worked for 21 years at Mallinckrodt Chemical Co. as an electrician and maintenance supervisor. In 1962 he was given the opportunity to become a computer Programmer Analyst and help upgrade an IBM - 4k computer to a larger 15k machine.
He worked for 3 years at Boatmen's Bank as Computer Operations Manager where he dealt with bank auditors and handled Federal Reserve check clearing and balancing.
At Wagner Electric he worked 10 years as computer Systems Analyst, Systems Project Manager, and Manager of Financial Systems.
Tony did not serve in the Military, but he is proud of his 9 years in federal Civil Service where he fought in the trenches of bureaucracy for a better government.
While working for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Tony learned about computer waste and unreliable financial systems. After learning that computer waste was government wide, Tony filed a Whistleblower Complaint and retired from government service on his 65th birthday August 23, 1991.
