| Info | Both of my parents were teachers and as a child I spent my summers in the Northeast Kingdom. Some of my fondest memories are of dancing at Cole’s Pond Casino, Climbing Nichols Ledge, and visiting the nearby farms. I have always felt that Vermont is my home and have small sheep farm in Morrisville. I am married to Conrad Garven and we have three children: Nick 18, Emilie 16 and Elizabeth 14.
I hold a BA from Curry College in Elementary Education/Special Education and have taught in both the public and private school sectors. Continuing my education with Capella University in Clinical Psychology, I transitioned to the field of Community Mental Health and worked as a Clinical Case Manager and as a Residential Counselor for Washington County Mental Health.
