| Info | Rhonda graduated with top honors from Hardin County High School, and then earned her RN degree from Southeastern Illinois College. She has also held license as a long-term care administrator.
Rhonda has been married to her husband, Michael, for 25 years and they have two sons. Jerod is a graduate of SIU and Britt, who is currently attending SIC. Rhonda and Michael are also blessed with a beautiful granddaughter, Brooklynn, and wonderful daughter-in-law, Cassie.
Rhonda began working for the Republican Party as a teenager and progressed through the campaign ranks working for 3 previous administrations of Thompson, Edgar and Ryan. She has promoted statewide and local candidates by working in parades, poll watching, driving, making calls, and most recently as Hardin County Coordinator for the Ron Summers Senate campaign.
Rhonda is an accomplished songwriter and speaker throughout Southern Illinois. She has lent her vocal talent to many Republican functions with her uplifting melodies and words of encouragement. Her vocal abilities have taken her many places, gaining notice from many in the music industry.
Rhonda is a noted marketer, grant writer, and promoter of Southern Illinois. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Ohio River Scenic Byway and Southeastern Illinois Economic Development Initiative and a board member for Shawnee Hills Champion Community Initiative. She is also an SIU Heritage Initiative Committee member and a BMI writer.
