Info | Assemblyman Timothy Gordon represents the 108th Assembly District, which covers parts of Albany, Columbia, Greene and Rensselaer Counties.
Tim is founder of Albany Media Group, an advertising and public relations firm serving small businesses and not for profit organizations. Involved in the community, Tim has volunteered as a Little League and Girls Softball coach, Sunday school teacher, and is an active member of the North Bethlehem Volunteer Fire Department, receiving the department’s Heroic Effort Award in 2004.
Tim is a member of several organizations including the Arise - Regionalism Committee, Fireman’s Association of the State of New York, Hudson River Task Force, Broadcast Freedom International, Parent Teacher Association and the Albany Curling Club.
He is a member of the Independence Party of New York and in 2003 was elected to the Bethlehem Town Council on the Independence and Democratic Party lines.
Tim, elected to the New York State Assembly in November 2006, had the endorsement of both the Independence and Democratic parties. He is the Assembly’s only Independence Party member.
Tim is committed to fighting for working families’ interests by reforming Albany, providing tax relief, promoting the development of renewable energy sources and improving education, fiscal responsibility, and health care.
Tim, 46, lives with his wife, Christine and four children in Slingerlands, Town of Bethlehem. He is a 1978 graduate of Shaker High School, Latham and a 1982 graduate of SUNY Brockport.
