| Info | Patrick S.A. Flood of Winthrop is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives. He has been appointed to the Legislature’s Joint Select Committee on Property Tax Reform and the Joint Standing Committee on Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry. He represents District 82, Readfield and Winthrop.
Representative Flood is a graduate of Syracuse University and the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He received his B.S. in 1974. Rep Flood is a retired Sr. Manager at International Paper and is currently a business consultant, Maine Guide, and author.
Representative Flood is very active in his community, as a Board Member of the Winthrop YMCA. He is also the member of other organizations including the Maine Professional Guides Association, the Maine Forest Products Council, and the Society of American Foresters. Rep. Flood was co-winner of the National Wetlands Conservation Award, which was presented to him by the Department of the Interior.
Representative Flood and his wife, Marjorie, have two grown children.
