Info | David Drain "Dave" Wallace, II
In this year of great dissatisfaction with establishment candidates, Dave’s take on conservative issues will appeal to both Republican primary voters as well as to independents and moderate Democrats for the general election.
Dave is a native Marylander. He grew up in East Baltimore County, in Dundalk, a blue collar community near the Sparrows Point Shipyard and Bethlehem Steel. He attended Our Lady of Hope Church and School in Dundalk, and graduated from South Carroll High School.
Dave graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology-Pre-Med and was inducted into the βββ Biological Honor Society. Post graduation, he accepted a position at the National Institute of Health (NIH) working in immunological cancer research, generally all aspects of cellular biology, specifically in the realm of natural killer cells.
Dave’s first job was working on one of the largest dairy farms in Carroll County, where farm work started before dawn and ended at dusk.
Dave was born and raised in the district and is now a successful businessman who resides in Carroll County. In 1981, he founded Chesapeake Kitchen Wholesalers, a distributor of kitchen cabinets and accessories to the remodeling and construction trades. The business has grown over the years and reaches customers in many states.
In 2008, Dave founded Restore America’s Mission, a public policy educational and grassroots advocacy organization, which brings a voice to Maryland conservatives on critical national and state issues, and even brought grassroots activists to rallies in Washington, D.C. He is well-regarded by both national and local conservative activists and policy experts.
Dave has been married to his wife, Barbara, for over forty years and is the father of three children; Missy, Wendy, and Paul.
