InfoBrent Gray was born in Cincinnati and raised in the West End. He graduated from Withrow High School and attended Morehouse College outside of Atlanta.

He served 13 years in the United States Air Force as a Human Resource Specialist and an Aircraft Technician. He served in support of operations during the invasion of Grenada and the campaigns of Desert Shield and Desert Storm. While in the Air Force, he also attended The University of Maryland.

After his military career, he worked for the United States Postal Service. He now runs a real estate investment and development firm, Capital Ventures Group. Gray is married, has 4 boys, and lives in Colerain Township.

Brent is a Precinct Executive in Colerain Township. He has served on two committees of the Hamilton County Democratic Party: one for the 1st and 2nd Congressional District races and the County Commissioner's race; and another for the State Senator and State Representative selection committee.

He is not a career politician, and sees that as an advantage. He strongly feels that the 16 years of corrupt, one-party Republican rule in Columbus needs to be ended. He feels a that a robust two-party system would go a long way toward solving the many problems Ohio faces (see Issues).

He is concerned about the future of Ohio and of the nation.

"We need to return to the values of honest, open and responsible government, justice and equality," he says. "We need to revive Ohio's job market, and see to it that people who've worked hard all their lives have affordable health care, as well as the pensions and Social Security they've earned. We need to educate Ohio's children to live in the 21st century. The current administration has failed us in all these matters."

"I care about these things," Brent added. "As your representative, I will listen to your concerns, I will be accessible to you, and I will work hard for your interests."
