InfoState Rep. Doug Collins (R-Gainesville) represents the 27th district which includes portions of Hall, Lumpkin, and White counties.

A former small business owner and current managing partner at Collins & Csider, Doug practices law in Gainesville while serving as a Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. He is presently serving his third term in the Georgia House and was named one of Governor Deal's Floor Leaders in January 2011. Doug and his wife Lisa, a school teacher, have been married 23 years. They have three children; a daughter, Jordon, 19 and two boys, Copelan, 15, and Cameron, 12. They are members of Lakewood Baptist Church.
