"I had read the Dragonriders of Pern, and Anne McCaffrey made writing look easy. It wasn't. In the 80's and 90's I didn't have the time to write because I had a house to remodel, a career to invent, and a world to change through politics".
I was born in Newman Grove, Nebraska and raised in southwest Denver with 5 sisters and a brother until my family moved to South Dakota where I attended high school.
After attending Nettleton Business College, I left South Dakota and spent the next six years in Las Vegas, Nevada. I've been employed with Bavaria Inn Restaurant since returning to Colorado in 1984.
I had read the Dragonriders of Pern, and Anne McCaffrey made writing look easy. It wasn't. In the 80's and 90's I didn't have the time to write because I had a house to remodel, a career to invent, and a world to change through politics.
I'm a passionate advocate for personal liberty and fiscal responsibility. In 1998, I helped create the original Tea Party: The Glendale Tea Party. In 2002, I published my first non-fiction book, Creating a Successful Convention.
After many years of crafting a story in my mind and then finally having the time to write it, in 2011 I published my first two books of a science fiction trilogy, The Healing Crystal: Heir to Power & Fall of Eden. In 2013, I published the final book of the trilogy, The Healing Crystal: Ransom.
In 2014 and 2015, I wrote and published The Candy Store, a time travel tale. I am currently working on my next novel, The Broken Shade, a ghost story with a jazz twist.
