| Info | Alex Donaldson, member of the Green Party of Nova Scotia, is entering his final year at Dalhousie University towards a degree in Physics and Atmospheric Science and a Diploma in Meteorology. He has lived in North Dartmouth all of his 21 years and received his Golden D award from Dartmouth High School upon graduation. Alex has been president of the St. Paul�s Church Youth Group, recipient of the Chief Scout Award, and received the HRM volunteer service award presented by Mayor Kelly in 2004. Alex continues to focus on the well being of the citizens of Dartmouth.
His interest in environmental concerns stems from an acute awareness of the problems associated with climate change and energy conservation. As a scout leader and through years of involvement in scouting, he has seen the benefits of proper environmental controls in the natural beauty of Nova Scotia. Currently president of the physics society and as coordinate of science mentoring at Dalhousie University, Alex is knowledgeable of the running of meetings, and responding to the concerns of others.
