| Info | "I am a native of Montgomery County and grew up on a family in Hope Hull, Alabama. I attended local public schools and attended Auburn, where I majored in Industrial Management. I was employed by a local natural gas utility with experience in operations and management for a number of years. I served two years in the Army Corp of Engineers (active duty) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and in Toul, France with the U.S. occupation forces during the Korean conflict."

In 1979, I was asked by the then commissioners to organize a Consumers Services Department within the commission to deal with and resolve customers concerns with regulated utility companies. During my tenure as director of this, I was assigned interim responsibilities as Director of the Engineering Division, Director of the Commissions Tariffs Department, and Secretary of the Commission (Chief of the Administrative Division)."

Since retirement I have been a regular attendant at the commissions monthly meetings and have represented the interests of certain non-utility business clients before the commission.
